Fee Changes

Technician registration fees will change effective September 30, 2025. Please review the Board’s Fee Change Notice for more information.

RENEWAL INFORMATION

Certified Pharmacy Technician renewal begins on August 1st. For more information about renewal please visit www.pharmacy.ohio.gov/CertTechRenew.

Registered Pharmacy Technician renewal closed on March 31st. Technicians with an “Inactive – Expired” status must submit a reinstatement application to re-activate their registration.

IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION IS A LEGAL TERM SIMILAR TO LICENSURE. WHILE ALL TECHNICIANS AND TRAINEES MUST REGISTER WITH THE BOARD, THEY MUST DETERMINE WHICH REGISTRATION CATEGORY (CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, REGISTERED TECHNICIAN OR TECHNICIAN TRAINEE) IS THE MOST APPROPRIATE.
